This F-15A was delivered to Bitburg AB on the 7th of July 1977 as part of the sixth batch of 6 aircraft for Operation Ready Eagle. 76-0020 started flying with the 525 TFS Bulldogs and briefly flew with the 53 TFS Tigers as well up and till March 1982.

Bitburg was receiving new C/D models and 0020 was transferred to Eglin AFB to serve with the 60th TFS Fighting Crows. Until Eglin started to receive their new C/D models in 1984. 0020 briefly flew with ADC’s 5th FIS at Minot AFB before the squadron deactivated in 1987. Transferred to the 101 FIS at Cape COD until they started to receive the MSIP jets when the 32 FS was deactivating in 1993.

Barely escaping AMARC with flying a brief stint with the Lousiana ANG at NAS New Orleans till the end of 1994.On the 31st of march 1994 76-0020 entered the AMARC inventory. In 2000 it was rumored to be prepared for display in a museum. In march 2001 it was delivered to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, United Kingdom were it is displayed in 525 TFS “BT” Blue colors.
