For 45 years, air superiority F-15 Eagles have safeguarded the skies over Europe. The 493rd Fighter Squadron ‘Grim Reapers’ ended their F-15C/D operations in Europe as its mighty Eagles fly away from their Lakenheath nest. WGASF. This movie was produced in a collaboration between Aviacom and COAP Media for the squadron.

Great sight & sounds video of the 173rd Fighter Wing Heritage Eagle preparing for flight at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls. The jet is the flagship for the wing and is dubbed the “Heritage Jet” due to its unique paint scheme. The paint scheme was done to honor 1st Lt. David R. Kingsley, a World War II bombardier, Medal of Honor awardee, and the namesake for the base.

Wright-Patterson AFB hosts numerous aircraft from the Gulf Coast and other bases in the path of Hurricane Michael, Oct. 9, 2018. The base welcomed F-22s, F-16s, F-15s and F-35s from places such as Tyndall and Eglin Air Force Bases as part of a safe haven program designed to provide a place for jets like these shelter from the storm.
