74-0099 (F-15A) was delivered to the USAF in October 1976 and entered service with the 1st Tactical Fighter Wing at Langley AFB, VA
It was flown by the 27th TFS and in the early 80’s switched to the 94th TFS “Spads”. With the built up of Eagles at Elmendorf AFB 74-0099 transferred to the 43rd TFS in 1983, defending the Alaskan Borders.
In the late 80’s 74-0099 transferred to warmer weather and joined the 199th TFS at Hickam AFB. The Hawaii ANG would be the last operational assignment of 74-0099. On April 3rd 1992 74-0099 retired from service at the AMARC at Davis-Monthan AFB.
