Nexus Dawn is a readiness exercise designed to test the ability of Air Force units to generate, employ and sustain air operations in a simulated combat environment. Air Force Reserve units from Travis, Beale, March, McChord, and McConnell Air Force Bases and the Air National Guard unit out of Fresno, Calif. are participating in the large scale readiness exercise.
